Rural SKILLS

LAG Međimurski doli i bregi is one of the partners on the project Rural Skills, funded by the ERASMUS+ program; Key Activity KA2 Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices.

 

The project is worth EUR 126,155.00 and started with implementation on October 15th, 2017. The project duration is 20 months.

Rural-SKILLS1a

The leading partner of the project is the LAG MontagnAppennino from Italy, and the other partners are the Alto Tamega Region Development Agency from Portugal, the Raia Nordestina Development Agency from Portugal, the LAG Zied Zeme from Latvia, the LAG Vlaamse Ardennen from Belgium and the Institute for Reconstruction and the Environment from Spain.

Rural-SKILLS2a

The main objective of the project are:

  • to create a transnational network of European LAGs to share ideas, practices and methods,
  • to widen knowledge and learning methods about sustainable rural development
  • to improve educational and training methodologies for rural development operators
  • to reintroduce the importance of transnational cooperation among LAGs and rural development organizations
  • to meet the needs and challenges addressed in the strategies of the LEADER areas
  • to develop new visions and new dimensions will support and promote new ways of working.

Rural-SKILLS3a

As a part of the project, a participation in five study visits and workshops in partner countries is planned, as well as organization of a study visit to Croatia in November 2018.
